This resume is structured to be parseable by corporate Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), helping your application bypass automated filters and reach hiring managers.

Smart Weighted Skills Engine

The resume builder prioritizes your technical skills based on how they were verified:

AI Assessed Skills (Weight: 100%): Highlighted at the top of your skills block. These represent skills you validated by passing proctored coding assessments.
Verified Experiences (Weight: 85%): Skills linked to work experiences approved by your supervisor.
Assessed Projects (Weight: 70%): Skills validated by AI project vetting reviews.

Custom Skill Selector: Use the checklist checkboxes next to your skills to customize your resume. You can toggle specific technologies on or off to tailor your resume for different job descriptions.

Document Structure & Data Integration

The builder pulls data directly from your profile settings tabs to build the document:

Header Block: Displays your name, location, contact info, and public LinkedIn/GitHub links.
Inline Summary Editor: Automatically imports your profile bio. You can edit this text directly on the resume builder screen without changing your master profile settings.
Skills Section: Groups your selected verified skills into a compact list.
Experience & Projects: Displays verified work histories and assessed projects with bullet-point descriptions.
Education & Certifications: Lists your academic degrees, institutions, and certificates with verified badge references.

Tailored Resume Download Quotas

Tailored resume downloads are subject to quotas based on your subscription:

Free Tier Accounts: Restricted to a total of 5 tailoring PDF exports. The control panel displays your remaining credits.
Quota Limit Locked: Once your 5 download credits are exhausted, the PDF download button locks. Clicking it displays a warning dialog: "You have reached your free resume download limit. Please upgrade to Highrr Pro for unlimited downloads.".
Highrr Pro Accounts: Unlocks unlimited tailoring edits and PDF downloads, removing all quota checks.

Tailoring & Downloading Resume Workflow

Follow these steps to generate and export your tailored resume:

1 Open the ATS Resume Builder page from the student workspace sidebar.

2 Use the skill checklist toggles to check the tech skills you want to highlight for this specific resume version.

3 Click the Summary block and customize your professional bio inline to match the target job description.

4 Verify your remaining credits in the left-hand panel, then click "Export Selectable Vector PDF".

5 In the browser print settings window, verify configurations (set Margins to None, Scale to 100%, and uncheck Headers/Footers) to save your PDF cleanly on a single page.

FAQs & Troubleshooting

Q: How can I change my email or phone details displayed in the resume?

A: Contact headers are pulled directly from your master profile settings. To update these details, navigate back to the Profile Settings page (About tab), modify your location or contact number, and the updates will reflect in your resume preview instantly.

Q: Why is my resume exporting onto two pages instead of one?

A: The resume layout template is specifically optimized to fit a single page. If your PDF overflows, check your browser's print dialog settings. Ensure you have set Margins: None (or Custom margins set to zero), set the scale to 100%, and disabled default Headers and Footers.

Q: Why are my self-reported profile skills missing from the checklist?

A: To protect academic integrity and build trust with recruiters, the ATS Resume Builder only permits including verified skills. Self-reported, unverified skills will not appear in the checklist until you pass their proctored AI tests or request supervisor verification.

Q: Can I change the order of sections on my resume?

A: Yes. You can hover over any section header (like Experience or Education) and use the drag-and-drop icon (⠿) to rearrange the section ordering in the resume template.

Q: What is the Cryptographic Proof Link that appears on the exported PDF?

A: It is a secure link printed in the footer. When a recruiter clicks or scans it, they are routed to a verified ledger card verifying that your CGPA and skill badges are authentic.

Q: How many distinct resume templates does Highrr provide?

A: Highrr provides **3 professional ATS-compliant layout templates**: Classic, Modern, and Compact. Free accounts can use Classic; Pro accounts unlock all three.

Q: Can I hide a specific project or experience from showing on my resume?

A: Yes. In the resume customizer panel, go to **Experience** or **Projects** and uncheck the checkbox next to the specific entry to exclude it from rendering in the PDF.
