Webcam & Voice Monitoring

Your webcam feed and microphone volumes are monitored continuously:

Face Missing / Multiple Faces: Ensure you are positioned in front of your camera. Alerts are triggered if your face is obscured or if the system detects another person in the frame.
Decibel Limits (CROSS_TALK): Maintain silence. Talking to others or having loud background conversations will trigger noise warnings.

Offline Resiliency & Buffer Syncing

How we protect your test progress during disconnects:

Local Buffer Saving: If your network drops, your answers and test progress cache locally in your browser's memory.
Automatic Upload: Once you reconnect, the client automatically uploads your buffered progress to the server, preventing data loss.

2. Page-Close Safety

What happens if you close your tab:

Beacon Sync: If the browser tab is refreshed or closed during an active test, a background browser handshake executes to transmit your latest progress before closing.
Test Interruption: Closing the tab does not pause the test timer. Try to re-enter the test lobby as soon as possible.

Exam Integrity Guidelines Workflow

Follow this checklist to complete assessments without integrity warnings:

1 Close all messaging apps, background browser tabs, and notification popups before starting.

2 Ensure you are seated in a well-lit, quiet room alone.

3 Enable your camera and microphone, grant fullscreen permissions, and enter the assessment.

4 Do not exit fullscreen mode or switch browser tabs. Focus entirely on the exam page.

5 If you experience brief network drops, keep working. The buffer will upload your progress once you reconnect.
